Index Fixer connects to your Google Search Console and scans your Shopify store to find pages that are not indexed by Google. It then gives you step-by-step guidance and where possible, automated fixes to get those pages into Google's index so customers can find them.
Google Search Console is the official source of truth for how Google sees your site. By connecting it, Index Fixer can inspect each page's real indexing status directly from Google, not just guess based on your sitemap.
It means Google visited your page but decided not to add it to its search index. This usually happens due to thin content, duplicate content, or signals that the page is not valuable enough to rank. Index Fixer will explain why and suggest fixes.
Typically between a few days and a few weeks, depending on your site's authority and crawl budget. You can request indexing manually in Google Search Console to speed things up. Index Fixer tracks which pages are awaiting re-crawl so you do not lose track.
Your health score is a percentage showing how many of your checked pages are successfully indexed by Google. A score of 80 or above is healthy. Lower scores mean a significant portion of your store is invisible to search engines.
Common reasons include thin or duplicate content, missing internal links, a noindex tag being set, the page being blocked by robots.txt, a soft 404 error, or the page simply not having been discovered yet. Index Fixer categorises each issue and explains exactly what is happening.
When you open an issue, Index Fixer can generate an optimised meta description for that page using AI. It analyses your page URL and context to write a description that is clear, within Google's recommended character limit, and designed to improve click-through rates.
Index Fixer can scan up to 200 pages per sync by default, covering your sitemap and internal links. This covers the vast majority of Shopify stores. Larger stores with hundreds of products will have the most important pages prioritised automatically.
Yes. Index Fixer works with all Shopify plans including Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Plus. There are no Shopify plan restrictions - if you have a Shopify store, Index Fixer can help you.
Index Fixer is available as a monthly subscription. Please check the Shopify App Store listing for current pricing. You get unlimited scans for your store with no per-scan charges.
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time directly from your Shopify admin under Apps and sales channels. There are no cancellation fees or lock-in periods.
Yes. Index Fixer only accesses the Google Search Console data you explicitly authorise during the OAuth connection. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties, and you can disconnect at any time.
